Coastal Craft

Celebrating Craftsmen
Of The Pacific Northwest

Originally started as an idea to utilize the already rented tent during the final day of the contest, Coastal Craft has proven to be a standalone event in itself. The most unique surf event in the PNW, Coastal Craft brings together an eclectic blend of surfboard shapers and manufacturers to celebrate the time honored tradition of handcrafted surfboards.

2022 Coastal Craft & Silent Auction

If you’ve been thinking about getting a new surfboard, this year’s event will be the time! Don’t miss this opportunity to grab a custom, hand shaped board from one of several premier Northwest Shapers, with all proceeds going to a good cause! The live Coastal Craft shaping event, which takes place on the final day of CKLC, was started in 2019 as a way to generate more interest, stoke, and ultimately more funds for the skatepark. The live event included a silent auction for each board and live shaping demonstrations by each shaper. Due to COVID, 2020 and 2021 Coastal Craft went virtual. This year’s Coastal Craft will remain virtual. Bidding will start September 15th and end at 3pm on September 18th.
